BEGINNERS BOOT CAMP

In today’s day and age, if you are not PC literate, you get left behind and cut out. Cut out of what you ask? Wel, there is this parallel universe that exists all around us, on screens and cellphones, that people call “The Internet”. The sad reality is that there are people out there that have never worked on a computer...and mentioning ‘copy and paste’ to them has them thinking of a pair of scissors and glue!

So, how do you bridge this gap in the digital divide between today’s younger generation and the technophobic old-timers such as our parents and grandparents? You bridge this gap by being connected. Being connected and, well, 'clued up', means you can regularly mail and chat to your loved ones saving huge costs, among other things. The solution I offer you is a 5 day crash course covering the basics from switching your computer on to understanding whatever windows you have open. This also includes typing in Word, budgeting in Excel, video calling and much more.

This is not a course, seminar or workshop, but a Boot Camp. The concept was started 3 years ago when normal everyday people signed up for the first Joomla Boot Camps. 5 days later they were building complex and functional websites. Attending a Boot Camp also gives you access to an online community of people, who have attended the same Boot Camps, where ideas can be shared and questions answered. After the course you will also have skype/mail support access for 30 days. But don't take my word on this, rather see for yourselves what the people who attended boot camps have had to say about them here

The first BEGINNERS BOOT CAMP will be held in:

  • Cathcart from 31 January untill 4 February 2011
  • Port Elizabeth from  21 - 25 February 2011
  • Johannesburg from 4 - 8 April 2011

The cost of the Boot Camp is R1500 with a optional payment plan over 2 months available upon request.
